Enhancing Access to Benefits While Lowering Emissions in Ghana

Building inclusive, climate-resilient communities by ensuring women, youth, migrant farmers, and persons with disabilities have equitable access to carbon and non-carbon benefits under Ghana’s Emission Reductions Program.

EnABLE Ghana. Ghana Emission Reductions Program

This Project is supported by the World Bank in collaboration with Solidaridad, Tropenbos Ghana, and the Forestry Commission

About the Programme

The EnABLE Ghana Programme is a multi-stakeholder initiative implemented by Solidaridad West Africa and Tropenbos Ghana to strengthen equitable participation in Ghana’s climate and forest governance systems.

EnABLE Ghana contributes to reducing emissions from deforestation while improving livelihoods and strengthening community resilience. The programme works directly with farming communities, traditional authorities, civil society organizations, government institutions, and local stakeholders to create fair and transparent systems that benefit people and protect forests.
